I would put an residual current device on for the outside socket so if it needs to trip for any reason, the whole ring wouldn't go. You don't need one, it'd just be handy.

And TLA stands for Three Letter Acronym.
 
if you chain two 30ma rcds the chances are they will just trip together

if you wan't meaningfull seperate rcd protection you can't take the feed from a rcd protected ring
