I have noticed some boilers are very noisy. What do people think the quiet boilers are?

Broag Avanta's are nice and quiet.

Second that.

Few years ago, a customer wanted a boiler fitting in a walk in wardrobe in their bedroom. They were light sleepers, so specified the quietest boiler possible. I asked around, as i didn't know the answer, and the consensus was a Broag-Remeha Avanta combi. So thats what the customer got, and were very happy.

Now, unless a customer insists on another make, I prefer to fit Broags. Not only very quiet, but compact, reliable and fitted with tried and tested components. Also well priced for such a great boiler.

In comparison, Vaillants are more expensive, and much noisier.
