Hi All,

I am trying to build something that can transfer R134a gas from a canister to a bottle and was wondering if anybody could help.

I need all the brass fittings seen on top of this bottle and I've tried looking everywhere to get them. there is also a tap on the side to stop and start the gas which is coming from the canister which has a standard Connector / thread is ¼” SAE. If anybody can help it will be greatly be appreciated.

I use a refrigerant recovery unit but that would be rather expensive for a one off. Alternatively you can transfer the majority by cooling the container that you are transferring to, perhaps in a bucket of ice, and heating the bottle that you are transferring from, say with boiling water.Of course I don't need to tell you that you shouldn't be messing with refrigerants as you will boil the planet, incinerate polar bears and irritate tree huggers.
As for fittings visit your local refrigeration wholesaler such as FSW
