I want to remove a rad and pipework from an open vented system from the kitchen, removing the pipes from under the upstairs floorboards, where the pipes are joined if i just heat the joint up will i be able to seperate the pipes or is it a permanent seal that has to be cut

just cut them then cap them.

neither, under the floorboards should be soldered
