I have a single zone system which even when warm out decided to call for heating occasionally.
On the occasion it happened I checked:
Frost T-State in Garage - Off
Room T-State in Lounge - Off
Heat/Water Controller - Heating Off / Water On
Triport Valve - (H M W) turned to H - Heating
Pump - Running
I was told by Drayton that the Triport will rest at it's last point.
It seems like the triport is working as it moves to the correct position normally H when heating only M when both and W for water.
I wondered about the frost T-state but its set at 3 degrees and when I turn it to say 20 you I hear it click on then off when I turn it back.
The other day when it happened I immediately turned the room T-state down and checked the triport which was on H, so I turn the tank T-state up a little it clicked and the triport went to W, I turned it back and it went to H again.
The controller was only on for water not heating.
Any help would be appreciated.
