The radiator in my bathroom is hot whenever the Hot Water is turned on, even if the Central Heating is off. I had the same situation in my old house, which leads me to believe it's intentional -- some sort of overflow from the water tank? Can anyone confirm this? And if this is the case, does that mean that the bathroom radiator is a separate 'circuit' to the main Central Heating pipework?

Thanks for any info.

Jim.

Yes,it now rare to have the bathroom connected to the hot water system nowaday. The problem with this, you don't need it on in the summer and in the winter the radiator is cold if the hot water system is not on depending how your plumbing system is.
