radiator in kitchen not heating up unless all others are off and the kitchen one is constantly bled. Also hot water on mixer tap just a trickle but other hw taps working fine.

It's a mystery to me. The two are probably not connected. A lot more info required about your system.
Old style gravity fed system had tap apart still weak? What other info?
Take the problem rad off and flush it with a garden hose. Make sore if you have a flexi connection on the hot supply that it isn't kinked and any isolation valves are fully open.

Done both of them already, would it need to be balanced finely but I would still have the hw issue
It's probably an airlock then,turn the hot tap on with your hand over the spout with a towel then turn the cold on and it should force the air back up to the cwsc. Do you have a trv on the rad?
Yeah trv but the return and feed both get hot.still no joy with tap.
If the rad is heating when you turn all the others off then you could try balancing there is info on how in the wiki FAQ's.

Ok thanks, it's a normal rubber washer which appears in good condition in fact hardly worn, they are mixer.
