Hello.... I have 2 probs which I'd love help on please?!

1) One of my radiators upsatirs needs bleeding - is cold at the top - but when I try and bleed it, the key won't turn... It seems very stiff and won't budge and I don't want to break it and cause a leak! IS there any way of overcoming this please?

2) My washing machine is causing smells in the kitchen. Is this just the norm, it is about 3-5 years old, was here when I moved in. Or is there a reason why the smelling has started ??

Thank you for taking the time to read my posts.

Hi

1) does the radiator key fit the vent nipple? or is it covered/stiff with paint???

2) washing machine smells - are quite common but does your machine have a trap? how is the waste piped up....

If you don't often wash above 40 degrees, putting some old towels through on the hottest wash may sort the smelliness out.

Some WD40 may help with the bleed point.
