Radiator onto dot & dab?

I’m hanging a double radiator onto a dot & dab wall. I’m going to drill through the plasterboard & knock the brown plugs through to the masonry behind for a solid fixing, would this be ok?

Is that the only option as they are a bit pricey?

Corefix every time for me.

cut a section of the plasterboard out and attach a piece of wood to the blockwork, the width of the brackets, to screw to. It's behind the rad so a bit of filler around the edges and paint and it'll disappear.

Did you use a 10mm bit for them or smaller?
