Hi
before moving into new house (built 1969) had a builder remove an internal wall to combine lounge and dining room. He had plumber/heat engineer remove a Rad that was on wall and capped pipes below floor, all done in hurry as new baby due! so didn't really check it all worked.
Thing is the rad in dining room does not get hot. Fast fwd 2 years , changed Rad and TRV but still no joy rad will fill but pipe hot only on one side.
Is it likely that this rad was in series with removed one as pipes under floor seem to run that way ie no bypass. I can take up floor and reconect the capped pipes to each other and 'complete' cct but worried that may not be worth it or cause more problems!
sorry so long & thanks for any advice
