So same old story.
Vented system with a 3-port valve. (x2 new)
All rads including the towel rails are on the CH flow. I moved the T/R in the bathroom and problem started.
so I thought, of course, I looped it and there is reverse circulation??
this is what i have done to try find the problem
- cut out my work and put stoppers in as the flow and return comes off the loop.
- replaced 3-port valve
- put stop-cock in after 3-port valve on CH to ensure it is not leeting water through.
- powerflush-just for luck
no change yet.
as my work was cut out and the valve replaced and a stop-cock put in, I figured maybe it was work someone else had done so i turned off all rads(lock shield and TRV) and set on HW call.
drained all the water out of the CH flow untill I could blow air through from the 3-port valve to the drain cock below. No more water came out and HW circulation was still on. no luck when i filled it all up again.
If anybody is still reading I appreciate the attention. any ideas
