Hello,
Can some one please help with my Ravenheat 820/20

I’m having difficulty lighting the pilot light and when I do get the pilot light on it does not stay on when the hot water or heating is turned on (goes off after 10/20 seconds).
The thermostat probes seem okay (continuity across pins).
The thermocouple measures between 8mV and 13mV
Fan running at slow speed when I turn on the heating.
Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Scott.

Your tc output is a bit low if that's with it disconnected. Try a new one.

Thanks Chris,

I was suspecting the gas supply to the main burner and the TC as a possibility.
Once the pilot is lit it will stay on okay until the main burner attempts to light,
It tries for about 10/20 seconds then seem to turn off the burner and pilot, I’m guessing this is built in safety to turn off all gas.

The T/C has been changed and i'm still having difficulty lighting the pilot light. The manual says when in central heating mode the fan should be running at low speed, but the fan is running a high speed and it blows out the pilot light. If I disconnect the fan the pilot lights okay.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Scott.
