Ravenheat LS100 CH problem.

Hi Guys

thanks in advance for any help.

have an LS100 and changed diaphram in divertor valve a couple weeks ago, all in order for last 2 weeks.

Lost electricity to unit today and since power came back on boiler developed a new fault.

DHW working. No CH All fuses intact External F1 F2.

No sign of life CH only, fan doesnt come on, seems dead.

Reluctant to change board owing to price and age. ideas welcome

How did the unit lose power?
and what was the cause? powercut or perhaps the boiler itself

On second thoughts, the ring had tripped power circuit, lighting ok?

but i reset ring (ELCB) and since power has been ok, the only noticeable difference is no CH., all other devices on ring no problem.

Boiler may have permanent live and a switched live, have you checked both?

it's very possible that the boiler devoeloped the fault that tripped the power in the first place i'm afraid

By Switched live do you mean some kind of relay on the PCB?

Green Power Switch on off has live
Summer winter switch works checked with multimeter make.break

was working prior to power going off, unlikely to be dead short on boiler else ELCB would trip.

Timer light also on, so presumably getting some volts through timer, but i suppose could short that and bypass
