Ravenheat DHW Thermistor what resistance should i have and can I
test the boiler with a resistor put in its place if so what rating resistor

Thermistor by definition does not have a set value. Manufacturer will be able to give you details.

Most Raven thermisters are 25K at room temp reducing to about 4K at 80 C.

You can replace it on test with any 1/4 W resistor. Or a pot.

BUT the value you select will not be the correct value for the boiler at bthat moment and will cause incorrect operation in respect of power input.

Better to just measure the thermistor to see if its correct.
