rcd tripping wrong wiring ?

Doesn’t look like a borrowed neutral to me looking at how the upstairs switch is wired with 3C&E to downstairs.

On the switch downstairs swap both reds around, then on the left switch move the blue to L1 and the red to COM. This should also fix your issue with the two-way switching of the landing light.
