Our Rcd has started to trip and all the sockets in the house stop working. We have not plugged in anything new into any socket. Can anybody help. My dad said it could be a power surge - 2 days in a row at about the same time each day.

Best to get an electrician to test it. RCDs are notoriously sensitive and if they are constantly tripping then you could have a fault. even a low voltage fault which could only get worse
