hello peeps, my cousin whose a plumber installed a brand new boiler on on of the flats that i maintain. the boiler came on the first time and hot water was working fine but it went off after a little while. we were finishing off little bits with it so turned it off from the spur and when we powered it up again it didnt turn on. i am getting power in the boiler after testing and also getting power to the pump, fan ut nothing else. no lights come on the boiler at all. could anyone suggest what may the prob. its it a new pcb??/

If power is going into pcb but nothing coming out of it I think you have answered it yourself ;)
 
thanks for the confirmation mate, but have u any idea where i can purchase the pcb from as i've tried quite a few big suppliers, and browsed through online but couldnt find it. do u knw anywhere i may be able to get hold of it.? cheers
 
Never had any dealings with these boilers. I always use my small & local parts supplier who will always order any part that is available.

Get your cousin to do the job, settings should be checked after changing pcb, should be done by CORGI man
 
If this is really a brand new boiler and has been legally fitted by a CIRGI then it will be covered by the warrantee.

Is this yet another illegal installation ?
