Hi all,

Somebody ran into the back of my car and drove off. The rear bumpers slightly dislodge from the car and there is a scrap. Please see the photos attached. Can I fix this myself? And how would I go about it.

Make: Volkswagen
Model: Gold
Engine size/Type: 1.6l
Year: 2010
Mileage: 90,000

Thanks,

Dougie

I think that one would pop back into place with minimal damage (from what I can see) but its best to slacken the bumper mounting bolts off from underneath first to avoid stressing the bumper further.
As for the paintwork, so long as the scratch isn't down to the raw plastic, most of it will polish out.
John :)

As John said loosen/ remove all the fittings on that side and it should clip back in ok.

Good wash first t-cut and polish.
