Looking on the tins i have it'll say recoat time - 45mins, 4 hours etc etc.
I'm just wondering if 'next stage' time is considered to be the same thing (or rather same waiting time) as recoat?
By next stage i mean maybe some light sanding if necessary, or certainly moving from say primer to top coat.
I'll be using Zinsser BIN, then some Johnstones undercoat & then Johnstones Aqua Gloss in some cases whereas Sikkens Rubbol BL Satura in other cases.
I know the undercoat is possibly an unnecessary step, but i have a fair tin of it & it'll go to waste if i don't use. Plus i did this when painting other areas & it turned out fine.
Or is it different when going to the 'next stage'? I've always left at least 24 hours for that in the past.
