Recommendations for a wall stud finder for a DIYer

Could you please let me know there is a wall stud finder that you would recommend for a DIYer.

I use one of those ↑↑↑ more than my Bosch stud detector!!

Find them about 30mm in from the ends and then every 450 or 600mm horizontally.

Use your nuckles and/or magnet, then confirm by drilling 2mm holes.

Magnets it is - thank you. And as woody suggestions, I should get familiar with how stud walls are constructed.

I like the way the video on this page shows how magnets can be used to build up a picture of the underlying stud walls.
