OK I just want a bit of advice regarding doing my bathroom up:
I've just moved into a new house and the bathroom is a state, speciffically the wall which the shower is mounted onto. It is not tiled all the way up and over the years the moisture has caused all the plaster to crack. Also the shower is on the opposite end of the bath to the taps.
My thinking is to remove the shower from the wall, get the end wall re-plastered, put a new bath in, tile up to the ceiling like it always should've been then put a mixer shower in at the taps end of the bath. I seem to have a very good combi boiler and the hot water stays very consistent, but the existing shower gets fed very directly (the boiler is in the room above) whereas the new one would feed off the pipes supplying the taps, would this make much difference?
Can anyone suggest any glaring faults with my plan?
