a wall on the outside of my garage has been painted with synthaprufe or some type of bitumen and then rendered on top by someone a long time ago. the render is starting to fall off now and i would prefer to take it back to the original brickwork rather than re-rendering it again.
some of the old bitumen is dry and brittle and can be scrapped of but a lot of it can't. has anyone got any tips for removing this?
