Hi,
I'm decorating the front room of our house at the moment, but unfortunately when a new heating system was installed the radiators have been fitted over the top of existing wallpaper, which not only makes removal of the existing wallpaper very tricky, but means that behind the radiators there is exposed plaster where the old mounting brackets for the previous radiators were, which needs attention.
I've purchased a RadkitPro and successfully used it on the main radiator in the room, as it has a manual valve, but the two smaller radiators have Honeywell Thermostatic valves. Unfortunately, I can't seem to shut the valves down on these, which means I can't get the radiators away from the walls to do the decorating properly.
It can't be left as it is as the wallpaper looks ragged, and the plaster needs treating.
Is anyone able to advise as to how I can shut these valves down to remove these radiators without draining down the system?
Thanks in advance.
