havent got any... I wonder if lemon juice would do it?

Is citric acid something I can easily buy?

WD40 works a treat on sticky marks left after removing a label. So does eucalyptus oil

should have said, I want to get it off paper and card collectables, so WD40 would presumably leave an oily mark.

I wil try to find some lighter fluid (is it still sold?)

yes people still tend to use lighters these days as opposed to refillable matches

My parents have a shop and use lighter fluid to remove gummy marks left by price tags - it's perfect for the job.
