removing tiles and plaster with it

hi

I am taking off tiles in the bathroom and the plaster underneath is coming off too. Will I have to re-plaster the wall before re-tiling? I can't really tile over the old tiles - the bathroom is tiny as it is.

It depends how much of a mess it is, you'll certainly need to make good before you tile.
