Hello folks, i have an old copper immersion tank and a very small house which i'm renovating, some plumbing work has been done in the kitchen and since then i don't get enough hot water for a bath before the water pressure drops to a dribble (previously it was ok).
It has spurred me to consider a few things;
1. How do i fix it in the short term?
2. Should i replace the tank with an unvented direct feed tank? (i could make room in the downstairs bathroom for this)
3. should i put in a combi boiler with the option to install radiators at a later date? (i have mains gas to the external wall but not into the house yet).

Many thanks for any advice.

Sounds like a loft tank not refilling fast enough!

But the best solution needs an expert on site to examine and measure mains dynamic supply rate.
