Replacement Bathroom Sink

Hi Everyone
I am replacing a bathroom sink that sits on top of a cabinet. The sink is really designed to sit on a pedestal so I wont be able to get at the screws that are up inside a recess to fix it on when it is sat on the tiled cabinet top.
I thought I might sit it on a bead of silicon and use tile adhesive on the back to secure it to the tiled wall.
The sink is heavy and quite stable when resting on the cabinet top. Anyone any advice as to if it would be a secure enough fix?
I have an alternative in mind which is to support the sink from underneath on blocks, fix it, then slide the cabinet top in underneath but it will be a bit of a faff !!!
I would prefer the silicon / tile adhesive method because that way I can completely grout and seal before the sink goes in rather than have to work round it.

Dont expect the tile adhesive to have a very strong pull.

If you must do it that way then I would suggest Hard as Nails might be better if the surfaces are dry and dust free.
