Hi folks,
After some advice.
We have a bathroom basin where the pop-up waste has failed.
I have a replacement waste to fit - but the plastic connector onto the existing pop-up waste seems to have been fitted by someone who didn't know they're meant to be tightened by hand only.
I can't get it loose by hand, even with an old towel over it or with a rubber glove on for a bit of extra hand protection.
The basin is so awkward there's minimal space such that I'm struggling to get any tools in there.
Can anyone suggest any really short handled grips that might get into such a tight space, or any magic tricks to loosen this up? I'm likely going to have to replace the P trap when I eventually get it off but hoping to get it disconnected without having to take a sledgehammer to the basin...
Thanks,
Steve
