Replacing DPC above bifold doors

Hi all,

We need to replace the DPC above our garden bifold doors, which means we need to remove a layer or two of bricks to get the old one out and put the new one in. Will we need any sort of structural support for the bricks above for the duration of the works?

Also, if there is a better sub-forum for this question, please let me know.

Fit Type E cavity trays.

Yes you will need to prop the brickwork above in order to remove several courses of bricks along the length of the lintel. 2 or 3 strongboy props should be fine
