I live in a conservation area in an 1830s house
Part of the house is a garage with a 3m wide garage door triple hinged. I would to replace the door with a single access door and then put in a smaller garage door. It is on the front of the property
Obviously this will mean some brickwork between the two doors. THe garage can never be used for car access so reduction in door width is not a problem.
The door will be wooden and in keeping with the style of the property,
Do I need planning permission building control checks etc?
