replacing light switches in hall

Hi,
I have 3 single light switches in my hall which all work the same light. We managed to replace 2 of the old switches with brass ones, however, one of the switches has 2 red and 2 black wires. Can anyone tell me where these should go???

Into an intermediate switch with 4 terminals, just like the one you took off without noting where the wires went.
