Here is a well over due update, due to not having time at night to post up the pics as have been busy at work & busy getting the work done for my L2 Refrigeration & Air Con NVQ. Also due to the fact that the internet has been playing up.

Why didn't you . . . just take out part of the back panels of those cabinets? IMO enough support would be given by just having a partial panel, and the cabinet butting up to other units and fastened to the worktop.

All those holesaw'd holes . . . just looks messy.

Is that flexi pipe from the sink waste? Not seen that before.

Yes I think so but not too late, can cut another smaller back panel in with maybe a shelf holding it in.

I'd think it might block up easily? Fat settles in the grooves and continues to congeal?

Yes, that was my guess too but I think the grooves will eventfully be smooth with hard water filling in the grooves maybe and depends what you put down the sink, fat shouldn't go in the sink.

No disrespect to the op but i'm a professional spark and have to say from looking at the pictures the installation is shocking! Very poor installation work and alot of things that make me cringe when i look at the pics! If an niceic assessor (or other scheme assessor) was shown around this job and he could see all the pics it would instantly fail!
