I have a part glazed with lower panel UPVC french doors (Conservatory) that I need to remove a Cat Flap from. Can the lower UPVC panel just be replaced, It's Brown outside/White In. and is this an expensive peice.
Yes they can be replaced, not a big job but one for a double glazing doctor or plastic surgeon or whatever they call themselves. You'll need the width and height measurements along with the thickness, also you need to know which style of woodgrain you have and what colour white you have. I've just had a look for my colour swatches to give you and idea of how many different whites there are but i cant find them, from memory there are 3 different woodgrains and 13 whites.
As for price i would say a rough guess would be about £50 per panel + fitting, half hour max to fit
