Robus Linkable Striplights to light circut or mains?

Hello,

Would anyone be able to tell me please? Can I directly connect Robus RLSTR30W undershelf striplights to the lighting circut as opposed to the mains via a fused spur?

These are the striplights that fit under cabinets etc, however, I wish to put one in a bedroom cupboard. I have access to the lighting circuit wires.

you could take a loop in feed from the lighting circuit via the ceiling rose connection.

I really want to install the lights on the lighting circuit, so I'll find the nearest 1.5m wire.

I'm merely anticipatin the next problem when you find that the nearest 1.5mm wire is the switch wire and not a live feed..

Sorry ColJack I was a little harsh I guess...

Perhaps you could of re-worded your post to read:

"make sure the 1.5mm is a live supply not a switch wire otherwise a light else where in your house will be half the brightness when you turn on your wardrobe light"

Just a thought.
