Hello,

My roof is leaking on my bay window. I think it’s coming through where the lie meets the asphalt. Would gunking it with roof sealant/CT1 stop this?
I know it sounds like a bodge but it’s all I can afford at the moment.

It’s only a small amount water coming through. Not enough to form drips but enough to see water marks.
Thanks

It's a poor detail to ask bituminous felt to do a hard angle transition like that and stay structurally intact and waterproof through years of heat driven softening/hardening/expansion/contraction.

As above I wouldn't know where to start without stripping it all back. You could try slipping some lead under the tiles to carry the water past the problem area.

Probably better with Acrypol along that seam at the drip edge as a short term fix.
