Roofing. How to do a Lead Gulley

Really need some assistance as never going to move forward with my bedroom roof, husband has made a dormer window and a pitch roof but b4 tiles go back he has to do a lead gulley. He is clever and will be able to do it with guidance but we cant find any information on how to put the lead on the roof how is it moulded how do you prepare it etc what tools, can someone help pse..

Try Wickes. I noticed some time ago they produce a pretty good leaflet on lead sheet work. Important thing with lead sheet is that you must select the correct gauge for the size of the sheet and it must be installed to allow expansion/contraction. Otherwise it will crack and split in no time.

I have found zinc far easier to work with on a valley and for flashing. That lead is expensive and far too heavy for my liking
