Hi Guys,
We have a Potterton Suprima 40 boiler and 8 rads in our 1930's terrace. All of the rads are fitted with TRV's except the Bathroom one as this was needed for a loop ?? to prevent overheating boiler.
Problem I have is this. Room Stat is in hallway, which seems to be best place by general consensus, but right next to kitchen, hence when wife is cooking my tea, heat drifts into hallway and room stat shuts heating off whilst upstairs has not reached required heat.
Is best way round this to up the RT temperature and turn the trv's down on the downstairs rads and up onm the upstairs rads or is there another way.
Cheers guys
Steve
