I noticed a leak in the bathroom yesterday from around the toilet and eventually tracked it down to a leak from the cistern. The cistern has two holes in the bottom, one has the water feed in and one is fitted with a rubber bung. The bung had a nut of some form on the bottom to hold it tightly in place, unfortunately it seems the nut has completely collapsed hence water is leaking.

I'm trying to find a replacement bung but with no luck. The problem is I have no idea whether it has a techincal name, or if a similar generic part will do the job.

As the photo doesn't show the size, it's 3cm diameter across the flat top of the bung.

Any ideas?

Something like a cistern stopper could do the trick...Toolstation 32757 or 51215 for example - especially with a squidge of silicone to help things.
