I live in a area with regular 5 min to 3 hour power failures and would like to keep my combi boiler going in those cases.
I have a Worcester Highflow 3.5 and think a standard (large-ish) UPS should do the trick.

Has anyone any experience of this.

Thanks

I think to last 3 hours you are going to have to have a really large UPS

Probably cheaper to get a small generator.

I'd go for the small generator and then you can keep the freezer frozen and a couple of lights and TV on.
