Hello

Can someone advise me on my central heating thermometer gauge please? The thermometer is set to come on at 4.30pm on prog 3. It switches off before 7 but it's not set to go off until 10.00pm

I spent 10 minutes with a customer advisor the other day and he explained clearly how to set it the morning mon- fri and the weekends.
I also have it programmed to the 5-2 setting. When I want to it shut off I set the temp to 10c
But sometimes I want to switch it on but because it's set to times, it wont.

It's between program 3 and 5 (as 4 is set to continuous but I've kept it as same as prog 3) and this is where I'm experiencing problems.

I hope I've been clear and look forward to your help.

Thanks

have you removed any jumpers on the back beofre it was fitted? this ensures that the rf signal is unique to your system. you may be picking up another signal from another salus nearby.

pick which ones you want, and pull them off, dont pick all of them tho (someone else might have done the same). when you have done that you need to remove the receiver front (turn electric off first) then you will see 5 dip switches. flick the same numbers as you removed jumpers. then power back up. then poke the reset button under the flap on the sender unit. you will have to re program it.

if you are really unlucky someone else will have picked the same numbers as you, in which case you will have to do it all again with a different combination of numbers

I took out jumpers 4 and 5 and switched them off at the receiver. I seem to be able to overide the temperature now, which it wasn't doing before. But I had to set each day manually rather than the mon-fri week. For some reason I coldn't select the weekend like I could before. Any reason why that would be?

Thanks again
