Hello,
I built an annexe last year and have used the Sandtoft 20/20 Interlocking Clay Tiles in Antique Slate (dark graphite) colour. While cut or chipped you can see they are painted over a natural clay, with a very, very thin layer of dye.
Assuming you do not scratch them, I am worried how long the colour will last, being exposed to the weather, ice, slate, birds and all.
Now I am building the main house, and am trying to make up my mind if I want to use these roof tiles again for the roof, which is around 320m2, and I do not want to make a mistake there.
Many thanks for any advice
