Hi folks,
Myself and my downstairs neighbour (flats) are having our roof stripped and retiled. I really wanted to use the Redland 50 Breckland Brown tile but building control have advised we stick to like-for-like as we have to have full plans for the building. Any one used the Sandtoft Koramic clay tiles? Late Victorian Terrace and want to keep it looking as traditional as possible whilst keeping building control happy!
Thanks in advance

All concrete roof tiles are much of a muchness, although the new smooth finish ones are better than the old granular variety as they mitigate the growth of moss. Also, large format tiles are installed faster, of course.

...and some concrete tiles are great to work on top of whereas others are totally shíte.
