Guys i am re-pointing my patio but not wanting that awful grey looking finish i have those marshall buff flags so how am i going to get the buff or sandy looking cement look i don't mind buying the ready mixed stuff either answers on a postcard please

White cement, Snowcrete and yellow sand.

The key is the colour of the sand, a yellow or buff sand will give the colour you want
If you use Snowcrete white cement you will get a 'cleaner' colour than if you use grey cement. Same if you use a pigment
