Hi
I'm currently changing the layout of my flat. The work would be a lot easier if I could install a saniflo macerator toilet as the main and only toilet in the flat. Sadly this isn't permissible in terms of building regs. Is there any way to overcome this ?
Thanks

No power = no light, no heat, no pee and no poo.

You'll regret it sooner, not eventually

And good luck trying to find someone to fix it when it breaks, I don't touch them.

A macerator toilet is not accepted as the only toilet in a dwelling.

You might find a composting toilet acceptable if you can comply with G4.19, in particular disposal of the waste material.

Just fit a regular toilet. If I had a penny for every tale of macerator woe... well, I could probably buy a coffee.

rather than a macerator, buy a bucket and dig a hole in the garden to tip it in.
