Saniflo problems

Hi,

I have a saniflo in a bathroom that seems to be faulty. The motor seems to be running but the water isn't pumping away! Also it seems like since this has happened there is some water flowing back into the shower tray (not the nicest).

Any thoughts on what the problem could be would be helpful. Had one plumber out who didn't really seem to know what the problem was.

if the shower water is returning check the shower inlet pipe to the sani.
they have a flap that closes inside if its not shutting fully the water won't always get taken away. it will just flow up the shower waste.
