No tune i can recognise :D

this keeps happening and i think it is just a blockage because i usually take the lid off remove tiny amounts of toilet paper from the top and put it back together and it works.

Trouble is we hardly ever use the thing but it still manages to jam again pretty quickly.

Do they make a more powerfull model?

I want to take the impellor out without removing the motor .
I know i can because my brother did it for me a long while ago. Now he cant remember how he did it.

does anyone know how please?

thanks

I thought the cutter/impeller was at the bottom and directly attached to the motor shaft?

If the hum is the motor running then the control for that is the air operated level switch. If its left on for long it risks burning the mnotor out as they are not continuously rated.

Its possible the level switch tube end is blocked.

The cutters are definitely on top. motor is not running just humming.

I think i might have to get a new one as I'm fed up with mucking about with it.

Just hope a new one will be better as I've heard they are all rubbish.

thanks

Are you sure the motor is not stalled and overheating?

Its possible the control circuit is failed and passing some current to the motor when it should be off.

Properly used and when nothing incorrect is put down them they should give good service without many problems. I have one which is not used that often either and that has worked fine for five years so far.

Thanks for your input Agile

I have just ordered a sanibest as that is the "industrial" version so should accept more or less anything according to Saniflow.
I might use it for a garden shredder if thats true LOL

They say its noisier than the saniplus but i dont really care as long as it does its job.

thanks again

Mike
