Hi.
I've recently bought a flat and the timer has just suddenly stopped working on the boiler - Saunier Duval Themaclassic f24e.

I've been looking around for a replacement timer but the official one is a ridiculous £135 for a simple mechanical timer - http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/280971336183

I was wondering if I could use an alternative digital timer, i.e something like this http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/231772897097

Is this possible? Or do I have any other options?

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers
Paul.

You can use anything you like as long as you are able to put the old one into a permanently on condition.

Thanks for the reply,

The boiler does have a permanently on mode.

Would the replacement I posted above work? I noticed they both have different operating voltages?

What would you recommend?

Cheers
Paul
