Everybody i know who has had a plasterboard ceiling put up has always paid a plasterer to skim it.
I got a ceiling put up in my loo and i didn't want to pay a plasterer to skim it so i used joint paper and compound to seal the joins and just compund on the screw holes
Then i painted it with bathroom silk emulsion and it is flawless to look at, and that was never having done it before.
So, why doesn't everybody do that?
