SBR as a final finish sealer

Hi guys,
can I use SBR on brick work to form a waterproof seal?
Ideally I just want to paint it on my bungalow, does it perform the same as a waterseal?

NO it`s not like a waterseal - don`t do it . Maybe on an old coal shed or privy
