Can anyone who has had scaffold erected fairly recently advise as to how much this cost? I need scaffold to the side and rear of my property (2 storey) for roof works and re-rendering the upper floor.

Also, could a scaffold tower be suitable for this purpose?

loads of money. Get a few estimates note item 9 Using a tower is possible, especially if you're DIYing it, but the sheer time it takes to move it around, as work progresses will make the whole job take much longer.

Bear in mind that, if the height of your tower is more than 3 times the minimum dimention of the tower it will need outriggers. The cheapest option is probably to buy something like this one this . You can then resell it once you have finished the work.

BTW. Ignore the price, It'll probably triple in price before the time is up.
